Eswar Sundar, M.D.

Dr. Eswar Sundar is a native of India and is a physician specializing in Anesthesiology who has spent many years in Europe and India. Dr. Sundar is currently the Director of Post Anesthesia Care Units at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School, Boston. Eswar and his wife Sugantha have a eleven year old boy with PDD-NOS named Srinath (Sri). Eswar teaches Indian classical music on the violin to his Sri.

Eswar has vast experience in dealing with various professionals and administrators in the field of Special Education. He is also the advancement co-coordinator and a pack leader for Pack 222 and Troop 222. Both are cub and boys scout units exclusively for children with special needs. The vast majority of boys in these units are in the autism spectrum. Pack 222 provides highly structured programs and field visits, the assistance of teacher's aides during den meetings and, perhaps most importantly, an environment of tolerance and acceptance.
