Meghan Montgomery

Educational Consultant and Floortime Practitioner, Artist

Meghan Montgomery has been working in the greater Boston public and private schools as a DIR/Floortime certified educational consultant and private Floortime therapist, designing educational programs for children with autism, as well as other language, communication, and regulatory-based challenges. She supervises and mentors families, school systems, classroom teachers, specialists, individualized teachers, and peers, on better practices for meaningfully educating, interacting, and including students with special needs. Ms. Montgomery strongly advocates for hybrid educational programs and developmental placements despite chronological age, where students can access and share education at their own individualized level to meet their developmental potential. Ms. Montgomery taught a nationally recognized hybrid educational model for 4 years under the supervision and mentorship of both Drs. Stanley Greenspan and Serena Weider. Additionally, she is a photographer and illustrator, and uses her artistic capacities as a method of teaching, communicating, and documenting her experiences.
